Ronald Court

The seeds of Ronald Court's personal commitment to follow the vision and values of Booker T. Washington were planted at his graduation from Boston University in 1965. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the commencement address that day, warning us that ...:

"We must all learn to live together as brothers,
or we will all perish together as fools.
...Human progress comes through the tireless efforts
and persistent work of dedicated individuals."

Upon graduation, Mr. Court served in the military (Vietnam) and then embarked on an entrepreneurial career, primarily in real estate brokerage, management and development. He also taught computer-related courses at Champlain College located in Burlington, VT.

He was a Founding Director and Treasurer of "Vermonters for Educational Choice," a state-wide organization dedicated to preserving the tradition of school choice in Vermont and enlarging the right of parents to choose the public, private, home-school or faith-based education they deem most appropriate for their children.

He has served his community as an elected Board Member and Officer of the Village of Essex Junction, the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington Vermont, Burlington Rotary Club and The Essex Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.

He resides in Essex Junction, Vermont. His twin sons, Alexander & Barnaby (now grown) continue to inspire and delight him.
